William Lahey is an Associate Professor at the
Schulich School of Law, Dalhousie University. He is the
former Director of the Health Law
Institute at Dalhousie University (2007-11). Professor
Lahey obtained his B.A. from Mount Alison University in 1983;
his B.A. (Juris.) from Oxford University in 1987 (Rhodes
Scholar); and his LL.M. from the University of Toronto in 2001.
Professor Lahey was awarded the Dalhousie Law Students' Society
and Alumni Excellence in Teaching Award, 2003-04 and was the
Deputy Minister, N.S. Department of Environment and Labour
2004-07.
